These clips are quick and easy to use thanks to their secure lock­ing sys­tem for both the plant stems and twine, and yet are easy to open when the lock mech­a­nism is pressed. Their super smooth and vent­ed design also pre­vents cuts to the vine, thus reduc­ing the chance of harm to your plants com­pared to oth­er clips.

Please note: Because these com­postable clips are made from plant starch­es that have a low­er melt­ing point than tra­di­tion­al plas­tic trel­lis clips, do not store them in direct sun­light or exposed to high tem­per­a­tures while stored in the includ­ed plas­tic bag. The bag can cre­ate a green­house effect, sub­ject­ing the clips to con­di­tions that can exceed their melt­ing point of approx­i­mate­ly 150°F. (Melting has not been observed when clips are in use on the vine, so the only con­cern is storage)
