Time Savings

Let us do the dirty work

No more building jigs. No more hot propane torches. Just 300 blissful feet of landscape fabric with pre-burned holes that will save you hours of precious time in the garden.

If burning 1,200 perfectly-spaced holes in plastic mulch is your favorite task of the season, then this landscape fabric probably isn’t for you…

On the other hand, if you’d rather save hours of tedious labor and get back to actually growing food, then we think you’ll love Quick-Plant Fabric!

Why you need Quick-Plant Fabric:

Massive time saver

Multiple pattern options

UV stabilized for many years of use

Smoother heat-sealed edges

Decreases weed pressure

Increases water retention

5 out of 5 stars

The Quick plant fabric is a game changer on the farm! Trying to burn your own holes in fabric is always a pain and it never turns out right. Having the pre cut holes are perfect for all my summer crops at 18 inch spacings and I save a ton of time by never having to pull weeds again!

Less work. More profits.

Weeding doesn’t earn you a penny. The less time you spend doing it, the more profitable your farm becomes.

Quick-Plant Fabric is an effective tool to decrease weed pressure throughout the season, all while increasing water retention in the soil.

While you may need to do some light hand weeding around the perimeter of the plant once or twice while it’s small, Quick-Plant Fabric will essentially put your growing bed on autopilot for the rest of the season. Talk about revolutionary!

Cleaner, smoother edges

A little less blood, sweat, & tears

If you’ve ever planted into landscape fabric with traditionally burned holes, you know how gnarly those edges can be — and what your hands look like in the aftermath. Not pretty. Thanks to our innovative burner design, you’ll end up with far less damage to your hands and a much more pleasant planting (or weeding) experience! This small improvement is a big deal!

So, even if burning holes in landscape fabric IS your favorite farm task of the year (more power to you), your hands will be glad you chose to let us burn them for you!

We saved so much time and money utilizing the Quick Plant Fabric from Farmers Friend. Reduced our bed prep task by hours. I would highly recommend using this product.

A Game Changer for No-Till Growing!

5 out of 5 stars

John D.8 days agoVerified buyer

Quick plant fabric is allowing us to move toward no-till without the seemingly inevitable battle with weeds. We grow a cover crop, then roll and tarp it, then take the tarp off and apply the Quick Plant Fabric over the dead mulch. Planting through the mulch is a little more challenging, but not too difficult and you have the upper hand on the weeds that always grow through the mulch after a month or so. We had our best sweet potato crop ever using Quick Plant this summer — without a weed in the whole patch! It’s definitely worth the price!

Was very easy to lay down and cut to fit my beds. Will be planting into it this week. In fact, I already need to order another roll.

Quick Plant Fabric

This looked like a good option for our small operation. The hole spacing is between the two layouts we used for head lettuce and Salanova - so a compromise. Did not want to hand burn. The fabric laid out over our 30" beds perfectly and the fabric is a higher quality compared to others we have purchased. The holes were crisp and clean. We are testing in our garden now to see how it works for us.

The fabric is great! Love the smooth holes. I think it would be nice for the 1 by 18 to have an option of larger hole size for planting for example 4-6 in potted on transplants.
