Greenhouse Plastic

Had to replace the only two year old plastic on my 100' tunnel after only two years. I bought it from a company that WASN'T Farmer's Friend and the quality reflected that. The old plastic tore where I grabbed it to pull it down and against the wiggle wire channels. I'm glad I bought from FF this time!

Despite the two strong windstorms that caused so much damage here in Maine, our hoophouse rode out the storms with minimal damage, even though its plastic is beyond the expiration date. Figuring it was time, I ordered covering from Farmers Friend for re-skinning later this year (ideally in October, before we move the hoophouse over the winter harvest plots) and to have just in case we aren't as lucky in the next windstorms. Lower cost and free shipping were key to my decision to purchase from Farmers Friend. Now, I can't vouch for the plastic just yet, but I was impressed by the speed at which the roll arrived via UPS.
